My review of Marriott Washington Metro Center
Anonymous, Tampa, FL Sep 23, 2006
The Marriott Washington Metro Center has a great location and excellent staff. Our room with one king bed was spacious and ... the linens very crisp and comfortable. There is a Starbucks coffee bar in the lobby but it was not open after about 2 PM. While the room was decorated nicely and furnished well, the climate control (AC this time of year) was not very responsive and the room was often too warm and muggy. The bar/cafe in the lobby is not long on atmosphere, but service was good and the late night snack we had was acceptable.
The hotel is centrally located to many DC attractions and most if you like to walk. If you don't, there is a Metro station less than a block away.

Staff was great
dorothy, Seattle, WA Sep 17, 2006
I liked the idea that this hotel had two restaurants and a swimming pool as we took our grandson and he swam every night ... after sight-seeing. The metyro system was almost right out the front door, very easy to get to and the hotel staff were very helpful in directing us to where we wanted to go. The hotel was pricy, but then I had never been to Washington DC before and was told most nice hotels were pricy in DC.

Most sites in DC you could walk from the hotel, we chose to take the metro and it was an adventure.
