Grand Hyatt was very well located for New Yorkers who take Chinatown Bus to visit Washington D.C. because it was just 4 ... blocks away from the Chinatown in D.C. where the buses have their last stop. The room and the bathroom are large and clean. The big window that opens gives sunshine and fresh air. The indoor patio of the hotel is pleseant. Evrything is just perfect.

The Grand Hyatt is just 5 minutes from Pennsylvania Ave. and key sites. Just 2-3 blocks from the Ford Theater, and 5-6 from ... White House. The hotel entrance and public areas are well maintained, but the rooms are dated and need a face lift.

This is one of our all time favorite stops. We love D.C. and all it has to offer. The location of the Grand Hyatt is ... perfect. Staff was congenial and professional. The food was excellent--we enjoyed two morning brunches. The room was clean and very comfortable. We plan to return soon.

City Segway Tours is an absolute must! Perfect way to see most of the major sites, w/o all the walking. There is a Sports Bar/restaurant in the hotel. We tried to get into the The ESPNZone a few blocks away at about 9:30 pm on a Sunday night and we were told it would be a 3 Hr wait!

I was expecting a top notch value and only got a mediocre one. There was trash outside my door when I arrived at the room ... and the bathtub was dirty. Everything else was ok. The room was located at the opposite end of the elevator bank which was at the opposite end of the exit of the hotel. VERY invconvenient. The hours for the hotel dining and Starbucks did not mesh with my needs for the trip. The concierge told gave me recommendations for a restaurant that was CLOSED on the weekends. Duh! I expected a better value for the dollar.
