Problems
Terry, Pleasant Prairie Jul 26, 2008
Good bed, great shower. Fridge was locked, no key. No microwave. Breakfast very expensive, with little in the immediate area ... to choose from. Had to park in an area behind the hotel one evening because a wedding took up all the normal spots, and valet parking was $29 per night. For free internet, you have to go to the lobby. Room internet is $10 or $12 dollars per day. Nice facility, but policy on smaller things, like microwave and internet should change if they want repeat customers.

Staff was excellent
Sharon, New Hartford Jul 5, 2008
The Westin was not as well maintained as last year. The carpet in our room was stained, the hallways needed to be cleaned or ... replaced. The walls in the hallways were all marked up. The staff was very good. The restaurant was excellent. The location is perfect.
There are great walking trails and several parks close by. The Butterfly Pavilion is across the street. You can walk to restaurants and movies.

Convenient NW Location
Anonymous, Scottsdale Jun 26, 2008
The Westminster Westin is conveniently located off the I-36 Denver-Boulder corridor. 15 minutes from most locations,30 ... minutes from Denver Intl Airport. Lots of newer shopping areas, restaurants, movie theater located near-by. Free over-night parking. The room was a standard business style but the decor was nice and the view of the mountains was fantastic. My only negative comment would be regarding the prices on the room service menu. They seemed unusually high for this market.I opted to eat off- site for that reason.

Overall our stay at the Westin in Westminster, CO. was very comfortable. I'm sorry to have to list a couple of complaints ... though. The air conditioning was off and on for two days which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The pool and whirlpool were out of service for the last three days of our stay----so dissapointing. Our room certainly was not dirty but I needed to request drinking glasses twice, no big deal, just a detail that was overlooked.
There is a multiple movie theatre within walking distance.

Anonymous, Fort Lauderdale, FL Aug 22, 2007
The air condiitoned did not work the first night so it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. They did give me free breakfast ... the next day and a free movie the next night, so at least they were concerned about it.

Not a 4 star
Thomas, Eugene, OR Aug 13, 2007
Found garbage behind the curtains and under the chair. The refigerator was lukewarm and stocked with their stuff, which cost ... a mint if opened. Also the complementary water bottles cost $3.00 if you opened them. The heavenly beds were umcomfotable and lumpy. I will say the location was good, view was great, and easy access on and off the freeway. Will not stay at a Westin again.
Lots of activities...movies, skating, shopping, right next door.

Great Place to Stay
Jennifer, Chicago, IL Aug 12, 2007
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Westin during our recent trip to Colorado. It was a wonderful experience. From the moment ... we checked in we loved the place. The lobby is very comforting. We had a mountain view that was breathtaking. We did not eat the hotel but did try the restaurants across the street that were all very good. The hotel was also located right never the highway so it was easy to get to places. The room was very clean and we loved the heavenly bed Also were impressed by how clean the bathroom was, bathrooms at hotels have a tendency to not be all that clean but not this one. Overall a great experience and we will most definitely stay here on our next trip to Colorado.
Alot of good restaurants located right across the street or a short drive.

Better than a home away from home
John, Los Angeles, CA Apr 8, 2007
The room is just so comfortable and clean. The beds are fantastic and the location is fantastic. The view of the Rockies is ... stellar and you have a movie and restaurant complex a short walk from the hotel. I wish at my home I had so many ammenities at my fingertips and a maid cleaned my space every day. Plus the shampoo and conditioner are so fresh! Love the hotel.
There is a AMC multi movie complex very close to the hotel. It's great to have someplace to unwind other than a hotel Bar.

Perfect Stay
Marjory, Chicago, IL Nov 26, 2006
The Westin Westminster was fantastic. I really didn't expect much before checking in but was very pleasantly surprised. The ... hotel has a resort ambiance, is beautifully decorated, and the overall attitude of every employee was super! The restaurant was great for breakfast. The smoked salmon was delicious. The hotel also provided a free shuttle to a nearby shopping area which was terrific. We would surely stay at the Westin Westminster again.
This hotel is great for families. All the kids loved the pool!
