Strange set up
Steven, Arl Hts Oct 20, 2008
The hotel is constructed as two towers across the street from one another. At the time we stayed there the registration desk ... was in the other tower and we were given a circuitous route to register. We then had to come back using the same route to our room! We also upgraded to the club level expecting to receive more than a few snacks and soda pop on a special floor. Most who read this will know what I mean. I must say the room was very well maintained, clean and comfortable.
The hotel is located on the 6th Street Mall with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Nice area and the capitol is nearby. Close to the interstates as well for easy trips to the mountains or the airport.

Great downtown Stay.
Anonymous Oct 19, 2008
This is a great placeto stay. The only neg I would have to say was parking. Parking was horrable because of the downtown ... area. the Hotel did have parking but they charged you. I think the rate was $5 for a couple of hrs or $20 for overnight parking. the hotel is under construction but the noise wasnt even noticable. The room I stayed in hadnt been reached yet but still was a great room. There was a little dust in the bathroom but nothing to report! I did call down for a toothbrush & they said it would be right up but i never say the toothbrush.

could have been great
Bernard, St Paul Oct 12, 2008
The hotel seeemed to be an older buidling that had been renovated to be more modern. I guess about 100 years old. Wide ... hallways and tall doors. It was clean and quiet. The room was very comfortable and clean though it seemed small. The same for the bathroom. The challenge came trying to flush the toilet. The handle was located on the wall but did not work properly. I needed to more the handle in different directions to get the toilet to flush. I also had to flush the toilet 3 times each time I used it to get a complete flush. The ice machine did not work. I went to the front desk and informed a lady there who said it would be turned into maintenance but in the 3 days I was there it did not get fixed. The hotel is a security hotel so I needed to swipe my room card to go up to my floor. This was a challenge when I went down one floor to get ice from the ice machine. There were posters in the lobby announcing a 7 million dollar renovation. It would have been nice if they made repairs until the renovation. The people were great, the hotel was clean, secure and quiet

The Denver Sheraton was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring ... downtown Denver. However, the parking situation for an out-of-town visitor was somewhat underwhelming.
16th Stree Market is nearby.

Be advised that the hotel charges you for using their parking garage. There was no parking other than their garage. They ... charge guest almost $20 a night to park their car. When we arrived the the room there was a glass half full of water on the dresser and a towel (apparently used) on the bathroom floor. I call the front desk and they offered to either remove the items or move us to another room. The parking was the big kicker for me.
